Yoga for the active baby. Promotes happy digestion, cognitive and motor and playful development. Gets baby's mind off teething and boredom. Yoga and massage relaxes baby and sets them up for a long nap. Mom does a few flexibility and abdominal exercises and gets to connect and share with other moms, making friends and picking up parenting tips along the way. Get to know your community resources. Say good-bye to post-partum blues and namaste to Mommy & Baby Yoga! Bring baby blanket, baby stuff and water bottle.

Feel free to print out your copy of "Mommy & Baby Planner" from the friends page on this website. This Planner is for you and baby to have fun connecting with other new moms going through similar mind/body changes in your first year of parenting. When major physical/mental changes occur as a result of pregnancy and birth, it's easy to fall prey to "The Baby Blues" or "Postpartum Depression". The local community resources listed on the Planner include free breastfeeding support groups, free family appointment in the Newborn Nurturing Center at the hospital with RN/Lactation Consultant to see how nursing is going after the birth of your baby (non-contingent on where you've given birth), classes you can attend with your baby for their cognitive and playful development, education classes for parents and babies, moms neighborhood support groups, exercise classes for mom to do with their baby, birth practictioner contact information etc....
